We live in Colorado, fresh fish is extremely expensive here, and my husband refuses to pay for it or eat it. Fish contains many toxins these days so many folks just don't buy fish.

So............. I need a cheep easy source of Omega 3's. It would be flax seeds or chia seeds. Flax seed is a blue flowering plant that grows on the Western Canadian Prairies and is rich is Omega 3 oils. It is also high in Magnesium and is very high on the charts in fiber. I buy it in bulk at health food store in Greeley. It is very cheap; a whole zip lock gallon bag is about $4. It comes in dark and light, I prefer light.
Chia seeds are about the same size and are black. They cost about $20 for a pound and a half. (but, you only use one tablespoon a day so it lasts forever) Every system in your body can benefit from flax or chia, including the cardiovascular system, immune system, circulatory system, reproductive system, nervous system, as well as your joints.
